This is the one. At its 32nd year, this is arguably the grand-daddy of all OC food festivals. This is "A Taste of Greece" at St. Paul's Greek Orthodox Church in Irvine.

Of course, there will be vendors selling gyros, pastichio (Greek lasagna), loucanico (Greek sausage), spanakopita (spinach and feta pie), dolmathes (stuffed grape leaves), saganaki (Greek brandy-flamed cheese) and so much teeth-rotting baklava to give your oral hygenist nightmares.

Of course, there will be dancing, music, and wine. The friggin' thing lasts three days.

Festival hours are 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday, June 25; noon to 10 p.m. on Saturday, June 26; and noon to 9 p.m. on Sunday, June 27.

But the best part is that, unlike other latter day food festivals, the fee to enter is just $3 per person with free admission on Saturday, June 26 from noon - 5 p.m. Children under the age of 10 and seniors older than 65 years old get in free all the time. Now that's a party.
