Police have found a vehicle matching the description of the car that crashed into the 23rd Street Taco Bell early Wednesday morning. The driver is known to be a white male.
A burgundy Jeep crashed into the north side of the restaurant at about 2 a.m. No one was in that area of the restaurant at the time, and there were no injuries.
The driver then backed out and drove away, westbound, leaving a trail of debris behind him. Using footage from security cameras, police were able to track down the car in a neighborhood just north of the restaurant.
