There have been rumors that the new place will be called Avalon Grill, but when I contacted the restaurant, they stated that neither the name nor the concept have been decided.

Chef Mead, on the other hand, is said to be already busy on his next project. Tentatively called Canyon, Mead's new venture will be in Yorba Linda, with a soft opening sometime in early May and a target debut date of May 10.
