So Where Did Buca di Beppo's Spaghetti Go, Anyway?

Why isn't every single dollar not needed to sustain life waste? What if everyone in the western world ate noodles and lived in a tent for a month and spent the rest of their income on feeding Africa? Is the writer of this blog doing that? No? You are clearly a horrible person that hates poor people, rich people and everyone in between. How can you live with yourself? God, I hate hypocrites on the Internet whining along on their blogs. Worth it for the restaurant? Lets do the math.. Seeing how a normal shaytards video gets 400 000+ views. How many millions would 22 minutes of in-episode advertising concealed as content cost on a cable network with equal amount of viewers? 1 million? 3 million? The press release had the same data in it. It's definitely not corporate America I'm out to get. Had a mom-and-pop shop done this I'd have treated them to the same level of snark.

It was boiled pasta and some marinara sauce. Who do you think eats the pigs that will be eating the pasta in the end? Come on man, it definitely sounds like you're out to get corporate America. • Oh, and what does bacon being meat candy have to do with this? I like bacon; you must have me confused with Gustavo. I prefer, however, my bacon to cone from hogs not fed on meat and garbage, hence why I buy bacon from reputable producers.

• Was I unclear? They made 10,000 pounds of food and it went to the pigs. I'm sorry, but that's not charity. It's a waste of 10,000 pounds of food, not to mention that feeding meat to farm animals is not healthy. Yes, they gave ANOTHER 10,000 pounds to the hungry (what makes you equate hunger with homelessness, by the way?). That was a good thing. It doesn't make up for the waste of five tons of food. These aren't carbon offsets. As for the restaurant, it's chain Italian-American. It's not the worst of those (hello, Sbarro?). Yes, there is better Italian-American, even in the Resort area (Marri's). And Italian dressing as used by Italians is oil and lemon or oil and vinegar. Being a corporation isn't a free pass to waste massive amounts of food. And transparency is not an insult: I do not think that word means what you think it means.

• Ok. Let me get this straight. They made a bunch of spaghetti. They then gave the old spaghetti to farmers to feed pigs. Bacon is meat candy btw. Then they donated the equivalent amount of food to the homeless. And you are bitching why?
