LA Times: Pizzeria Ortica Chef Leaving

​The LA Times had the scoop on a bombshell at one of Costa Mesa's most buzzed about restaurants. Steve Samson, whom we've profiled here on these pages, is leaving his post as chef of Pizzeria Ortica.

This comes in the wake of other shakeups in David Myers' restaurant group. As for a planned Comme Ca in Costa Mesa, I recently noticed that the banner outside the building is no longer there.
