The Arches Closes in Newport Beach

​First, The Arches moved from its original location, where A Restaurant now sits, to 29th St., on the Balboa Peninsula. 

There it sat since the 2007 move, and it even expanded a few doors down to the short-lived The Arches on The Water, which is now The Dock Restaurant. 

This week, reports have it that Dan Marcheano has shuttered The Arches for good.  The Daily Pilot writes that it was due to issues with the city.
