How bad is it to work for Taco Bell, at least in the lower rungs? Enough so that its workers are more than happy to rob their own work place. From Jersey:

Authorities have charged two Paterson men in the botched armed robbery of the Taco Bell restaurant on Market Street where they both work.

Police were called to the restaurant at 622 Market St. just before 12:30 a.m. Thursday.

Employees told investigators that a gunman and an accomplice entered the restaurant through an unlocked back door and ordered them onto the ground, said Detective Vincent Scillieri of the Elmwood Park police.

The restaurant's dining room was closed at the time, and four employees were on duty working the drive-through line, Scillieri said.

Employees recognized the alleged gunman as Daquan Butler, 25, a fellow employee who had worked a shift at the restaurant earlier that day.

One of the employees on duty at the time of the robbery attempt, Ricardo Santana, was arrested, accused of unlocking the back door so that Butler and a third man could gain entry, Scillieri said.

Both men were arrested and were being held at the Bergen County Jail in Hackensack.
