Newport Beach Restaurant Week Starts Friday: Discounts Abound

​As you watch the Golden Globes tonight, you'll recognize that the first half of the year is awards season in Hollywood. But in O.C., it seems to be restaurant week season. OC Restaurant Week is starting at the end of February, but Newport Beach has its own restaurant week which rolls in this Friday, January 22th and continues until Thursday, January 28th.

About 75 restaurants in Newport are participating, offering discounted prix-fixe lunch menus at either $15 or $20; dinners at $25 or $35.

And what's more, similar to the OC Restaurant Week, the Newport Beach promotion will have participating restaurants give out a Gratuity Card worth 20% off your next food order at any participating restaurant after you eat at the January 22 - 28, 2010 event.
