Guests at IHOP on that day can ask for a free short stack of buttermilk pancakes. Donations will be accepted for the Children's Miracle Network, a charity that provides funding for research on children's health issues and for the operation of children's hospitals in the United States.
Consider donating freely; the more you give on National Pancake Day, the less you have to see Marie Osmond begging for money during the Memorial Day weekend telethon. Eat pancakes, see fewer enormous, eerily-glowing white teeth: how could this possibly be a bad thing?
