Reminder: OC Restaurant Week Starts Sunday, Plus Demos at Bloomie's On Now!
Some deal are more generous than others, natch, but full details are on the official website, so you can plan ahead (advance bookings are recommended).
For lunchtime, say, Royal Khyber's $10 combo (a starter and main course, plus rice, veg and naan) is a massive feed, while Watermarc's $15 menu includes just one course and a soft drink. Still, it's a great excuse to try somewhere you've always wanted to go but could never afford, even if you only get to eat lightly.
To get us in the mood for the foodfest, chefs from some of the participating restaurants are hosting cooking demos at Bloomingdale's, South Coast Plaza. Tonight it's the turn of Executive Chef/Owner Jenny Ross, from 118 Degrees. The demos run through to the end of Restaurant Week.
