This Week In Food

Categories: Dining Digest
This week, in SAFII:

Edwin continued to stalk the Kogi Taco Truck, bringing us exciting news of its impending arrival in Lakewood twice this week (including Saturday).

I revealed that Fresh & Easy has no further plans to expand locally in the near future, following big losses in its US operations. That may well disappoint OC Weekly-reading fans of the chain, one of whom likened it to Disneyland (!)

And Gustavo made a plea for loquat tree owners to contact Ernest Miller, a Whittier cook and food enthusiast who wants to make all sorts of goodies out of the fruit for the final project of a culinary course he's enrolled in. Unfortunately, he has "exhausted his [own] supply." Help!!!
