Bad news for D&D fans (including myself): the opening of the Fashion Island store has been put back.
First it was meant to open in the fall of this year, then it was moved forward to the summer--indeed, that's what the hoardings on the side of the site still proclaim--and now it's "the first half of 2010".
According to spokesperson Tiena Manypenny, there are a couple of reasons, not least the general state of the economy.
On the plus side, they promise to open sooner if possible. To which I say: "Open now, and I'll make it my mission to spend every penny I earn there!"
After all, you can never be too rich or too thin--or have too many overpriced chocolate rugelach.
