Two Freebies to Sweeten Tax Day (Wednesday, April 15)
These two complimentary treats might not cure any fiscal woes we may have, but at least they'll give us a sugar rush that'll take our minds off them for an hour or so. Assuming we can track down a nearby location, that is.
MaggieMoo's Ice Cream & Treatery is giving away one free single-scoop of ice cream per person throughout the day as part of its "e-cone-omic" stimulus package. So far there's only one OC branch, in Ladera Ranch.
Cinnabon's "Tax Day Bites" promo, meanwhile, is being held from 5:00pm to 8:00pm and involves free Bites (mini versions of its classic rolls).
The number of free Bites varies per location, but the offer only applies to participating mall-based bakeries.
