The crime didn't actually happen in a Taco Bell, but does it surprise you that the following criminal would've stopped near this paragon of civility? From Oklahoma, the original illegal-immigrant state:

An Edmond man faces jail time after he stole a police car and drove while he was drunk, police said.

Aaron William Green, 29, of Edmond, was arrested about five minutes after stealing the car near the downtown area, said Glynda Chu, spokeswoman for the Edmond Police Department.

Chu said at 1:53 a.m. an officer was on patrol near the Wolf Trap, 1109 S. Broadway, when a man flagged him down and said there was something suspicious going on between some individuals at a nearby corner.

When the officer got out of his car to check out what was going on, the man, who turned out to be intoxicated, jumped into the cruiser and took off southbound on Broadway at a high rate of speed, Chu said.

Five minutes later, at 1:58 a.m., using a locator device, the cruiser was found in the 2600 block of 33rd Street, behind the Taco Bell, where Green had crashed, hitting a curb and knocking down a stop sign. Chu said Green was not injured and the police car was operable.
