Set the Alarm, Bargain Hunters!

The expansion of Smart & Final Extra! continues apace with the opening of a sixth OC (and 13th overall) location in Stanton on Wednesday 18 February.

Offering even lower prices than the regular Smart & Final warehouses, the Extra! stores are larger (the Stanton branch covers a massive 27,000 square feet), and feature, we're told, a greatly expanded selection of products "in key categories like frozen foods, dairy, deli and grocery basics like cereal, yogurt, bread and snacks... The produce sections are significantly expanded with the addition of hundreds of new items." And there are "entirely new sections for baby food and diapers and health and beauty care."

Which pretty much covers everything, doesn't it?

The action kicks off at 7am, with a ribbon-cutting and dedication ceremony by local officials at 7.45am. Expect grand opening specials and free reusable shopping bags (while supplies last).
