i hope they savor the taste of the "fro-yo" because its going to be a very long time before they will be able to taste such treats again after they get laid off, foreclosed, and bankrupt. i say let 'em have one last scoop on the Reg's tab, after all its not often that getting fucked tastes so bitter sweet.

  2. jumpcut says:

Those "reporters" are just interns from their Irvine community paper.

  3. Nona Yerbiz says:

Yes because we all know the OC Weekly only does major investigative pieces. I'm not a big Register fan but this just seems like whining. It's 3:15PM on the day before the 4th of July, probably not the right day to start up the corrupt so and so story when nobody will see it.

  4. Rich Kane says:

    Hey, Nona Yerbeeeeeez!

Can't you think up more creative fake names?

You forget it's the Reggie - nobody would see it, anyway, no matter when it runs...

Better to not let anything scamper across the Reggie's web site than to further humiliate what's left of the Product with fro-yo poofery...

I'm afraid I have to looking for what to wear to the Register's funeral, too, which is hard after working there nearly 13 years.

The paper I worked for was always committed to community journalism; that, too, seems to be gutted now, despite new Publisher Terry Horne's promise of local, local, local.

They're now just taking pages from one city's paper and putting it a neighboring city, hoping no one will notice their Capistrano Valley News (in my case) is filled with Dana Point news ...

I emailed Exec Editor Ken Brusic, who said "he'd look into it..." (Although frankly, the worse the Capo News is, the better for my own paper).

We'll see. I posted about it in The Capistrano Insider, www.thecapistranodispatch.com
