The OC Weekly in Long Beach

Categories: Naranja News

Or, rather, former Weeklings (yes, Virginia: Steve Lowery and Theo Douglas jumped ship last Friday) are starting a new paper in Long Beach, according to Orange County Business Journal via LA Observed yesterday. Pick up the inaugural issue April 11. Good luck, cabrones!

Hurray! About time someone noticed that Long Beach is apparently not "L.A." enough to be included in the LA Weekly and apparently too "L.A." for inclusion in the OC Weekly.

Good luck, indeed!

Seriously! That is great news for Long Beach. But officially, Gustavo, you and Moxley are the only writers left keeping me reading. Are we counting down to your departures yet? You know you're way too good for OC.

P.S. The link is broken. :)

Wow....now as soon as Gustavo and Moxley leave, I will officially have no reason to read this paper. Sad, sad days.

I hope Swaim, Commie Girl, and Ziegler join Steve and Theo. Basically, youd have a new version of the Weekly with A team. Thatd be great.

As long as that calendar editor sticks around, I'll support this paper to my death!
