Remember Rich Kane? Our longtime music editor and author of the immortal LowBallAssChatter column? Who personified all that was/is wonderful and snarky about your favorite rag? But mysteriously disappeared from our pages in 2005? And ended up in the Inland Empire Weekly, a paper started by longtime OC Weekly advertising god Jeremy Zachary, himself mysteriously disappeared? Well, Rich returns Aug. 2 as the Weekly's new managing editor. God does have an interesting sense of humor, ¿qué no?
