Orange County sheriff's deputies arrived at a million-dollar home on Birdhollow Drive around 1:40 p.m. to find two unidentified people who had been shot to death.
No efforts were made to search for a gunman beyond the two-story home with a three-car garage, however.
Deputies believe the killer never left the abode.
Autopsies were scheduled today for the dead pair, whose identities were withheld pending notification of next of kin.
The home is owned by Stacey Bryant, 38, and Eddie Bryant, 39, the Orange County Register reports.
The paper also quotes a neighbor saying the home's residents held a garage sale about a month ago where books, bookshelves, a wine rack and other items were stacked next to a sign that read, "Free."
