Free Bus Passes

PhotobucketThe gas prices nowadays stink to high heaven. So The Orange County Transportation Authority has decided to encourage people to leave their cars at home by offering free one-day bus passes during Dump the Pump week, June 16 - 20.

That's right folks. Bus passes. Absolutely free of charge. "But why?" you ask. Chris Norby, chairman of OCTA will answer you:

“Dump the Pump week encourages people to explore alternative modes of transportation and our free passes gives them an opportunity to hop on board the bus.”

How cute is that?

The passes are valid everyday until June 20 and can be obtained by visiting the OCTA's web site.

Now go take your new pass for a spin. You can thank us later.

    TO OCTA: Any OCTA/Orange County programs to receive free bus passes? Living off $20 per month
    after unemployment and rent-need assistance if i can find it.
