It's that time of the year again—the official Girl Scout cookie sale season started on the 19th of January.
And it pains me: Boxes and boxes of Samoas, Thin Mints, Trefoils and Tagalongs are waiting for me out there and I have no idea where to find them.
But now you can visit girlscoutcookies.org to locate a seller near you. Just input your zipcode and e-mail address and a representative will get back to you with a list of locations.
The real news though, is that it seems that Orange County Girl Scouts have decided to scrap all those cutesy cookie names—the Trefoils are now just Shortbread, the Do Si Dos are Peanut Butter Sandwiches. The Samoas? Just Caramel deLites now.
Kinda snoozy if you ask me. But as long as my Thin Mints still taste the same, you can be sure that I'll be out there placing my order—for two boxes of each flavor.

Nothin' like thin mints straight from the freezer.
If they ever made Thick Mints we'd all be done for.

I'll never forgive my local stores for not stocking Mallomars.
Food of the gods.
