Loretta gives her two cents
"I don't think visiting the White House ought be like shopping in a big box retail [store] on the day after Thanksgiving," said Orange County Congresswoman Loretta Sanchez during today's hearing involving U.S. Secret Service boss Mark Sullivan, who admitted that three agents have been suspended for allowing an uninvited couple to skirt security and attend last week's White House state dinner. Sullivan described the gaffe as "pure and simple . . . human error."  Sanchez thanked Sullivan for accepting responsibility but also blamed White House staffers for not working with the Secret Service to prevent party crashers. "I have never seen this instance before."
