   I agree that our people are being tortured and killed. It does not make it right to kill other people. General Vang has forced us to give money and uses alot to take care of his wives and his own personal stuff. He helped us a long time ago but his family and him still tries to take our money. I do not think that it is ok to kill other people. I bet if the police checked on his cousins, wives, and family they would find alot of people who do illegal things in the name of Hmong. We is Hmong and we are not killers.

   No one forced anyone to give money, we live in a nation of liberty, it was a choice by those who gave. If your family is being murdered are you going to tell yourself it is unfortunate but it isn't right that you should stop the people killing them by force? Sure you may think the authorities would help, but the general has asked the UN to take action in helping stop the cruel acts the Laotian military had committed. Nothing has been done, so he sought ways to take action.

   Of course Mr. Vang Pao did not force anyone to contribute money to him, his family, and friends. Mr. Vang Pao manipulated, tricked, and lied to his very own people into giving money to support himself, family, and friends. Most of the people that has contributed to his scheme are the low income families who are struggling here in America. Why did it take this long for him to do something about our people back home? The reason is because he's getting old and about to die; so he's trying to go out with a big lie. Mr. Vang Pao has used our people's money for his own sexual pleasure. Look at how many wives he has. He has got to make money someway and somehow. And of course by the only way he has ever known to do. Tricking his own people.
   Yeah he had help lead the Hmong community way back in the days in fighting along side with the Americans. Don't get me wrong, I am thankful for that. But once powers got into his head and money started flowing in for our people, we no longer matter to him. He took that money and ran with it. Why do you think the Hmong people are the only ones who does not get any aids from the USA government. The Philipinos, Russians, and French here in America do. This is why these other group are able to prosper in this country.

   Regarding the recent arrest of Vang Pao and his fellow colleagues. As we all can see world wide, a lot of our people are relieve that Vang Pao got arrested. Take a look at the people who were protesting for HIS release. It was 98% young fellow Hmongs who were out there. They weren't even around when the war was going on. They don't know what's going on back home. They don't see the corruptions here in America and back home. From what I have heard from my colleagues "Out at the capital was like a mini Hmong New Year. There were hella girls to hollar at". "The only reason we were out there was to hollar at the girls and be on t.v.". Where were all the veterans, family, and friends who were there at the time? They knew and was happy that justice was going to be serve. They were at home hoping Vang Pao rot in jail for all the crimes he has committed back in the days and up until now here in America and in Laos.
   If we haven't realized money talk. People were out chanting for Vang Pao's release only. What about the others that Vang Pao has dragged into the mess? Luckily the court saw that the others deserve to be release too. I hope justice is serve properly.

   Vang Pao needs to be overthrown. It's time we Hmong unite as one, put our differences aside, and elect a new leader. We need someone who is smart, strong, confident, and not afraid of criticism.
   Vang Pao needs is a Hmong version of Saddam. Vang Pao's family, friends, and himself need to open up their eyes and see what happened to dictators like Saddam. They don't get too far.
   Remember we supported you and believed in you at one time. You took our trust and stomped on it. You took our poor families money and ran with it, with no regards to our hungry children.

   I don't really care about Vang Pao even he grew up in my uncles' family. My uncle took care of him until the day he grown up and became famous. Now Vang Pao mean nothing to me.    To all concern viewers and commentators:

   I'll break it down for you just a little to see if you can figure out the rest then you'll know exactly where your IQ stand.

   There are three kind of people in this world that you should never trust your money nor your life to. Would you know who they are if I didn't tell you? Take a moment to guess the answers to see if you got them right.

   The answer is; 1)the gambler, 2)the salesman and 3)the politician.

   All of these charactors has the same kind of traits, mind, philosophy, mentality, and other endless listing of description. Give them any chance and opportunity, and they will take it all. As for all of those poor soles and victims we are so concerning about, most of them just couldn't wait for these three guys to come along and entertain them. For some, they had no clues what they are doing. Most of these people had been victimized once or twice, but just couldn't stay away. It's like being addictive to drugs. Telling them common sense, and they look at you strangely. Their lives seem like they are dependant of these three guys. It seems like they were meant for each others like husband and wive, or a horse and a carriage.

   I symphathize for them and for you, but no one really know for a fact that the general had any direct contact with these victims or his political party, and fund raisers committees. I do know for sure that none of these people could be trusted nor depended.

   I had my own facts and doubts about the general, his political parties, and the victims; but I still appreciate the change and outcome resulted from his decision to side with the CIA of the United States during World War II that brought us here today. Otherwise, none of us wouldn't have this opportunity as we have today, despite all other negative, lost, and sacrifices. None of us would be able to live and talk as we did today if it wasn't for the general's decision.

   Spilling every negative rumors out as we read here on this site isn't the wisest thing to do wouldn't you agree? Possibly right at the moment, but later one might realize and regret those words that had came out without careful analizing. It only tell people/viewers that those comment and criticisms were made by intelligent people. No one could really prove for a fact of exactly that he had done directly or indirectly, by him or by his political parties, or groups that just want to over throw him or make profit out of him.

   My advice for those that wants to become famouse should try hard to accomplish something worthwhile. And those that had hard time with the general, find the truth about those scan, those victims, and so forth. You'll be shocked and learn to adapt to it. Maybe pay your respect once in your life time to the general for the few good thing he has done to us, to our parents, our country, and our community.

Number 3 usually falls into the hand of number 2., but number 1 always gets the blames which they never cares.    Just for thoughts:

   With the mess that this general and his followers are caught in like ducks in a cage, in harms' way, in front of tidal waves or hurrican; there's no chance of winning but to absorb it in or plea for lighter sentencing. I know just the right antidope for this general and his helpless men, that would make the whitehouse jump and drop the charges they hope to show the world that they do not tolerate terrorist anywhere on this world. Anyone can figure out that if these guys are convicted of such terrorist threats, CIA and US are the master mind behind it all. No matter what the excuse or charge against the group. An average person can figure out that there must be some kind of descrepancy/conflict/disagreement between the general and the CIA/US to have caused the CIA to withdraw from the plan and turn these little guys in. Like we haven't seen it before. If all the parties agreed, it would have been like World War II and like Iraq. Does this open up anything?

    I agree with Girly Cha too. I think you guy spill too much of the negative that never see the positive. Our 1st priority is to save those who in dangerous and in needed of our help to have at least a 1 day of a good time in life not waiting to die.     Kids, your comments are true from what you may think, but I don't blame you guys because you all are still young. I want to let you guys know that we came to the US for a reason to be educated and learn as much as possible so that we all can help our Hmong people. Long ago we never have a land and now that we are like renters live under other people's laws and in their house, we may be kick out anytime by the owner...throwing our people left and right....don't you see.
