    OH, REALLY?!?!

    Let's see now: First, in order to escape persecution in England, the pilgrims used illegal means to flee England, and go to the Netherlands (aka Holland).

    Then, fearing that they were losing their cultural (i.e., English) identity to the Dutch (who accepted/tolerated their presence), the Pilgrims leave Holland for America (and if I remember my history correctly, there were shady dealings committed, in order to obtain the charter from England, so that they could sail for America).

    The Pilgrims came here legally? Yeah, right!
