   Pete Fundy has been instructed to offer the Weekly an "ironclad guarantee" that we will not spam Janine Kahn if Rex Reason writes a "gushing puff piece" about OCLegend.Com.

   As Orange County's leading conservative commentator, I have no idea what any of this means.

   Hey we sent a "feedback" letter in regards to why the poll was down - we've got over 50k-60k friends on the Myspace for Buttasopht Musilk, and Abstract Workshop pages combined (Jud Nester, DJ Cocoe & The Abstract Workshop Myspace), and had links on all the pages, blogs, bulletins, and Sol-T.com for people to vote. We also had a direct fill in from OUR OWN SERVER at Sol-T.com for fans to utilize, before we were alerted by several fans & friends that the link (ocweekly.com/bestofpoll) was down or inoperational - which it was for 2 weeks. So I would check facts before shooting accusations, and don't come down on us for getting the people to your OCweekly Best Of Poll - I mean that's what you wanted, right?

   If they seem like spam, it's because we told people that they only had to fill in what they wanted, which if they were even going to do it, they were there to vote for Sol - nothing more. I know for a fact we had a ton of them come in from the same server on our website, because I personally spent a while writing back a ton of people that sent in a bug report, saying that it was down. We took the link on our website and server down, so that way you don't cry about it.

   While blogging and venting your frustrations is all gravy, Ms. Kahn - I would probably not be so upset by nominations coming in, no harm done, go ahead and nominate yourself if that's what you'd rather see. And while Sol is originally from LA, he resides and promotes a healthy and musical Orange County - and according to your link back to the Sol-T.com Bio (which is old and needs to be updated) and Rex Reason's OC Weekly interview on him, it clearly states that he was "raised in LA for the 13 years of his life..." but is an Orange County Musician.

   So again, Janine - relax, take a deep breath, and have a drink.

   Do your research.
