Best Of Wieners!

Ballot stuffing is a really pathetic way to get free PR. Which is why the editorial department here at the OC Weekly has decided to disqualify the bands/artists (you know who you are) who have been doing just that.

We're sorry, but when 30 electronic forms filled out with just your band's name and nothing else come in within two minutes of one another, we can smell something fishy going on. We ain't stoopid. Sorry, guys. Maybe next time you wont cheat.

As for all of you non-cheaters out there, please list your e-mail address at the bottom of your form. It helps us to determine who's for real and who's a liar. And for those of you who prefer things the old-fashioned way, mail-in versions of the Best Of forms are/will be included in the paper up until the end of August.

Keep your eyes peeled for the Best of OC—featuring all the winners, not wieners—hitting stands Sept. 20.
