Hi, folks! I'm Steph Calvert of Hearts and Laserbeams and the Long Beach Craft Mafia and I'm super excited to be a brand new blog contributer for OC Weekly. In upcoming posts, I'll be sharing the inside scoop on both local and not-so-local indie artists, crafters, events, indie business tip, craft tutorials, giveaways--you name it, I'll share it!

To start, I thought I would share a few things I've created over the years--I'm a big fan of making pretty much everything and anything, including:

  P1050991
Paintings!

  easter22
Dog sweaters!

 Multimedia message
Cupcakes!

 P1040492
Various sewing projects!

 P1060141
And more paintings!

So that's it; you're stuck with me. You can always reach me by emailing heartsandlaserbeams@gmail.com, but let's get this party started right with a giveaway!

Comment on this post and share with us your favorite thing to make before midnight on Friday, July 10; one lucky commenter will win an archival print of their choice from the Hearts and Laserbeams shop! Winner will be picked at random, and only one entry per person please. Good luck, and talk to you soon!
