   Anyone who thinks Bishop Brown and John Urell are entitled to "respectablity" and posess "courage" is either delusional or simply ignores the fact that both of these men protected and concealed numerous child rapists working in the diocese of orange.

   In evaluating respectability I suggest Weekly readers do the following: Try and picture the scene of a priest sodomizing a ten year old little boy or girl wearing a Roman collar in a rectory. The crucifix hangs silently over the scene but Jesus and the blessed mother cannot help this little boy now. Imagine the unbelievable fear the child experiences. Imagine the physical pain of having his little body being violated and his flesh being torn apart by the adult falus. Imagine the tears running down this little childs face as the abuse goes on and on and on. Imagine the smells associated with the violence the child is experiencing. Imagine the child's incomprehensible fear when he is told by the priest perpetrator that if he tells anyone his family or his pet will be hurt or die or he will go to hell. There is no more offensive nor vile crime in any culture.

   Then imagine being that priests molesters supervisor (like Brown and Urell) and knowing all of the above and consciously and carefully deciding to allow the priest to have access children to do it again. Imagine having a written policy that permits re-assignment of this type of individual. Imagine lying to the victim. Imagine leading him to believe no one else has ever complained when you know there are others. Imagine deciding to lie to the child's parents about what you know about their childs tormentor. Imagine deciding not to tell law enforcement to protect this monster for the sake of avoiding a scandal and protecting fundraising. Imagine going to a "going away party" for a serial priest rapist who was being kicked out of the priesthood for molesting kids (Urell only). Imagine spending millions upon millions of dollars of money contributed by well meaning and decent people on defense lawyers, media consultants and others who will gladly spin the Hierarchy lies for money. Now you have the accurate picture of what John Urell and Todd Brown knew and what they did or presided over.

   Respectability? Courage? No. Hell no! They should be universally condemned and frankly imprisoned.

   Those are the facts - ugly, vile, sick and disgusting. The facts don't lie. People can read these for themselves in the Diocese of Orange documents section at Bishop Acountability.org.

   Thank you Mr. Manly! There is no way that the six month rule will allow decent human beings, Catholics or not, to forget the heinous sex crimes that destroyed the lives of precious children and their families for decades.

   Sadly, the six month rule obviously works for the POLITICALLY CONNECTED ENABLERS that make excuses for the foul smelling and sick decisions made by Diocesan Bishops and their legal advisors to blame victims and their families each time they speak out to report sex crimes or other violations of the law.

   Evil will meet its match... we can only pray that more decent human beings see through the evil sickness that enables the Diocese of Orange to appear holier than though to its many hard working and contributing parishoners.

   Wow. Compelling description of abuse by Mr. Manly. Left me speechless. Have to wonder how far this will go. If the Catholic Church can’t or won’t do what’s reasonable and necessary to put these scandals behind them, I believe we’ll see the day when this country decides to re-examine the tax exemption of the Catholic Church.

   It reads just like the bible, 20 centuries of scandal. It all depends on how you interpret it. In that rectory, on that crucifix hangs either the son of God or a common criminal depending on your point of view. What some people see as criminal, others see as divine. But this is what makes the Catholic Church what it is. They are molesters, pedophile protectors, and child abusers. Priests, nuns, Catholic school abuse.. it's nothing new. It's stereotypically represented. It ain't no big secret. And after all these years, the Church is still in business.

   It is a business that has tax exempt status..
   that is all.

   They are peacock people prancing around in their plumage and there is something blind about their Eucharist receiving chosen few.

   If you haven't rented it yet.. you should see the film "The Magdaline Sisters". The actual women are interviewed afterwards. They are 90 years old now and still affected by the abuse endured by the Catholic Church.

   It aint gonna end muchacho. It's just their way of gettin' through the day. Pass me that kid will ya, I got a vow that needs a'breakin.

   The Diocese of Orange has not changed at all since the truths have been revealed and there is no change in the future. Why? Because children are not RICH and POLITICALLY connected so sexually abusing them can be swept under the rug.

   Do you really believe that one of the Diocese's sexual predator employees would abuse one of William Lyons' granddaughters who attended Santa Margarita Catholic HS or one of the corrupt attorneys' children, who are protecting the Diocesan sexual predators from accountability as mandated by law? ABSOLUTELY NOT... the Diocesan leaders are experts at grooming its victims, intimidating children from exercising free speech, press and opinion, covering up financial embezzlement and dirty sex crimes, twisting the law and launching expensive public relations campaigns so the faithful in the pews keep on giving every Sunday as the basket is passed.

   I feel for the employees of the Diocese of Orange who live in fear of doing the right thing... we all know what happens to any employee who speaks truth or reports wrongdoing. The patterns of illegal employee retaliation can be documented for many years... and does Bishop Brown or the Diocesan General Counsel correct illegality activity? No.

   Why not? Because law enforcement in Orange County and the State of California needs the Diocesan POLITICAL CONTRIBUTIONS...the influence, the so called Christian values. Nothing is further from the truth and this County's leaders could care less about precious children and families... SHAME ON ALL who could take action to make things right.
