Pedo-Priest Gus Krumm Fighting to Keep His Personnel Files Personal

If you want to fight for the side of truth and justice, join members of SNAP (Survivors Network of Those Abused by Priests) this Sunday around 8:30 in the morn as they distribute fliers outside Sts. Simon and Jude Catholic Church in Huntington Beach. They'll alert parishioners about what Diocese of Orange Bishop Tod D. Brown never bothered to do: that someone recently filed a lawsuit against admitted pedo-priest Gus Krumm, a Franciscan (pedo-friar?) who served for years at the parish during the late 1990s.

Those parishioners should also know that Krumm is furiously fighting to keep secret his personnel files, the reams of documents kept on all Catholic priests and orderlies that have shown again and again how church leaders actively protected pedophiles at the expense of innocents. The court battle isn't happening in Los Angeles, though; it's taking place in Los Angeles Superior Court, site of a 2006 settlement between victims of Franciscans at St. Antonthy's Seminary in Santa Barbara and the Archdiocese of Los Angeles (administrator over Catholic life in Santa Barbara County). The release of personnel files were agreed to by the Franciscan order as part of the settlement, but individual pedo-priests were allowed to contest their files--with the legal help of the Franciscans.

A judge ruled against Krumm and his pedo-pals in April, but the case is still in appeal. God knows what horrors lie in those files...but, in the short term, protest against Brownie this Sunday for full transparency in his laugher of a regime.

Gustavo, we don't have to guess what's in those files. Talk to Five or Six Victims anywhere in the US; Hell, anywhere in the world, and you'll get the general idea. Maybe not something as strange as urinating in little boys mouths, the way one now dead priest did used to do (this Pervert took his own life, thank goodness!!), or raping children on the altar as some of the other priests did; but you can bet your ass it's pretty damned Freaky. Pervert Priests Love FREAKY!!!

Here's a correction to your report. On June 13 and 14 (the weekend following this story breaking in the Register) the pastor of Sts. Simon & Jude made an announcement at all parish Church services reporting the existence of the lawsuit to all present. He also made available an invitation from the Bishop to anyone who considered himself or herself a victim to come forward with any complaint.

Everyone here needs to google The Franklin Cover Up and learn about a huge government scandal that has been covered up...a pedo program run by mob for government....along with help from the Vatican. Start googling.

Joelle Casteix says:

Well, it was nice of the bishop to invite people who "consider themselves victims" to come forward to him. We encourage people to go directly to law enforcement, especially since most of the abuse by Krumm will fall into the criminal statute of limitations. SNAP's goal is to put molesters behind bars, not to hand them over to church officials, who have shown that they are more concerned with protecting themselves than protecting kids.

Our goal tomorrow is to empower people to seek the truth -

- The franciscans MUST release the Krumm files so that the parish can know the scope and scale of abuse,
- Manville MUST be moved to a protected facility away from children until any investigation is complete, and
- Parishioners MUST demand why Krumm was allowed to stay at the parish for years after the diocese knew about the abuse - and NEVER warned parishioners.

If these things were accomplished, THAT would be true healing.

And I wonder why the Bishop didn't come himself ....

disgusted says:

Why was Krumm allowed to be in charge of the altar boys for years at Sts. Simon and Jude when Manville and the diocese knew he had admittedly molested boys in Santa Barbara?
