Nearly a week after posting an unredacted deposition revealing the names of six Orange diocese sex abuse victims, Friends of Monsignor John Urell webmaster Matt "Jubal" Cunningham posted a lengthy apology on his powerful, widely read OC Blog. Cunningham's mea culpa is rather extraordinary in that his previous commentaries about the Orange diocese sex-abuse scandal antagonized sex-abuse survivors and their supporters with his spin for Urell, the Orange diocese's former person in charge of investigation sex-abuse claims who didn't do the greatest of jobs.
"There were faithful, hurt Catholics who came to the Diocese for help and were treated as potential legal liabilities rather than members of the flock to be shepherded and cared for," wrote Cunningham. "And in my heart, I can’t account for that. It saddens and angers me they were treated that way, and I believe victims have every right to seek recompense from the Church and the Church has an obligation to make amends to victims of abuse by its clergy and employees." To his credit, Cunningham also tips the proverbial cap to the reporters and lawyers that hves pressured the Orange diocese for years to owe up to its pedo-protecting ways, entities Cunningham slammed just in the past month. And, shocker of shockers, Cunningham demands accountability from Urell, his pastor at St. Norbert in Orange. "I also want him to return," Cunningham adds, "so he can make specific amends to those people to whom he needs to make amends, and seek forgiveness." Good first step toward repentance, Matt: The next step is to resume your peepee match with John Manly.

Appeasement of tyrants gets you Hitlers.
There will be no appeasement of Brown, Mahony, Barnes, Brom, Curry, Law, O'Malley, George, Egan, McCarrick, MacCormack, Rivera, Walsh, Steinbock, Weigland, Soto, Chaput, Skyland, Pilla, and a host of other gulity and yet unaccountable criminal red hat and miter enablers, racking up billions upon billions of laity paid for bills, in the single largest ongoing pedophile ring in the history of the globe, directed by the Roman Catholic Curia.

Cunnigham knew EXACTLY what he was doing, and thought he could get away with it, on behalf his Diocese of Orange handlers.
Matt 'Jubal' Cunnighham is just as guilty of criminal enabling, aiding & abetting, contempt of court, perjury, racketeering, obstruction of justice, as the Diocese of Orange is, and needs to be held criminally liable, as an accessory, to his premediated criminal actions!

I don't think Matt should be let off the hook. If Urell comes back programmed to keep defending the position he has been forced to take by the RCC then he will be as he was one more time "A cover up artist". Urell is being pumped up now, for the future fight that will come on his arrival back in the country.
Will he do the right thing? No he can't sorry to say for him!
Because he will loose any thing and everything financially he has coming from the church.
I would do the same thing Urell has to do when he gets back from vacation.
Urell would not be able to function with out the church. What can he do different for a carrier? Nothing. He will fight when he get's back and that’s ok and at least understandable for his future and survival.
This will be admirable if Urell can keep up the same posture after his return. Much better than these attempts by Matt to have us believe anything he is saying right now. Mat is just trying to get him self out of deep caca legally with his intention releasing of victims names.
Matt would sell his mother right now if it took the heat off his legal problem.
But Matt and Hanna will back that fight again.
The crocodile tears here Matt I see right through! You have no admiralty in your fight for him.
Todd Tamburg cry’s those tears every time something good happens for victims. He has been doing it for years. Todd actually cried as he talked to me the day Mahoney announced the settlements. The crocodile tears I almost bought hook line and sinker.
Then he does a 180 and starts his pr fight again. Right after that and defends the abusers again. No Matt I think you will have to jump off a cliff for me to be a believer in you! Nothing personal but the people you surround yourself with are evil and heartless. But make sure you wrap your self in a body bag as I don't want you destroying the rocks you land on and leaving a mess. Then we would have the environmentalists blaming us for your problems too. It would be the Victims made him jump!

The OC District Attorney and OC Sheriff's Department are personally, politically and financially connected to the Diocese of Orange and its many legal advisors. This is why Jubal and Hanna jumped in to defend and support Urell... IT IS ALL ABOUT POLITICS AND MONEY FOR CAMPAIGNS!
The OC District attorney never hesitated in prosecuting sex crimes committed by minor children, Gregory Scott Haidl, Kyle Joseph Nachreiner and Keith Spann, with taxpayer dollars; however, the DA refused to investigate, prosecute or monitor sentencing of several of former Diocese of Orange employees. Examples:
JEFFREY ANDRADE, former employee at Mater Dei HS, who was paid $100,000 by the Diocese of Orange for privacy violations.
MICHAEL KARL SANDOVAL, Case No. 02CF1275 (former Santa Margarita Catholic HS arrested in May 2002 by OC Sheriff's Department). Don't bother to www.google.com Sandoval, you won't find anything. Apparently the www.google public record may have been manipulated in some way. And, Sandoval's sex offender registration is not up-to-date on Meghan's Law website.
JEFFREY SECKMAN, former teacher at Santa Margarita Catholic HS. Never prosecuted, does not have to register as a sex offender.
EVAN MOLINA, Case No. 06SF0853. Molina pled guilty in having sex with a minor student. BUT, Molina does not have to register as a sex offender.
MICHAEL HARRIS. The OCDA did not face expired statutes of limitation was evidence was given to prosecute Harris. BUT, the political influences of the Diocese of Orange INTERFERED with criminal prosecution of Harris. Harris remains free, without having to ever register as a sex offender.
CARLOS MELENDEZ, Case No.05NF1843, sexually abused one of his female students at Ball Jr. High School. Melendez was not an employee for the Diocese of Orange at the time he was arrested; however, Melendez has a better protection tool to defend him in a civil suit: Michael John Peffer, the attorney who represents the Diocese of Orange, LA Archdiocese, OC Sheriff's Department, the Anaheim Union HS District and just about every public school district in Southern California.
Check out this website and you will confirm all the statements herein. www.visionweb.occourts.org/Vision_Public/Index.do .
These are just a few... and the reasons that Attorney Jerry Brown must investigate all the OBSTRUCTIONS OF JUSTICE in Orange County, California.

Thank you for your coverage of this Gustavo.
Unfortunately, as they say in Texas talk is cheap and whisky costs money. If Mr. Cunningham had any decency he would disclose who gave him the protected material in the first place. He won't. His lawyer Darryl Aitken (presumably at Mr. Cunningham's instruction) won't tell either. The bottom line is that he is still hiding and protecting those within the diocesan hirearchy who knowingly gave him unredacted documents that contained victims names. He also has never stated whether he was being paid, as he has in the past on other issues, to advocate for Urell.
The victims exposed by Mr. Cunningham's conduct have had their friends, family and strangers read the details of the perversions foisted upon them by Urell's and the Bishop's subordinates. As children these people lost their innocence and ability to control their bodies to Mater Dei and Diocesan predators. Now, they have lost control of their anonimity and identity because of persons trying to shield the hirearchy yet again from responsibility for it's child rapists.
Sometimes saying I'm sorry just doesn't cut it. (For example Mr. Cunningham's beloved Mitt Romney won't forgive Senator Larry Craig.) Our clients thank Mr. Cuningham for his apology now they want accountibility.

Mr. Cunningham's apology is admirable and there is no doubt it was difficult for him to humble himself publicly. However, my advice for Messrs. Cunningham, Hanna and Aitkens, please read Scott Moxley's "The Mind of a Pedophile" published in this week's OC Weekly. Read it carefully..... then,
Print the unpublished opinion in The People v. Kenneth Casey and Allen Rumsey, App. Case No. 037067, OCSC Case No. 03NF3674 that Moxley refers to in his article. If you print the opinion before 60 days after September 25, 2007, it will be available. Otherwise, it will disappear forever.
Combine Moxley's analogies in "The Mind of a Pedophile" and then read how easily the OC District Attorney's Office PROSECUTED and CONVICTED defendants Casey and Rumsey for conspiracy to commit a crime.
If the OC District Attorney's office can put on a prosecution strong enough to commit two persons of conspiracy to commit a crime, when the crime itself was never committed, only in the minds of the defendants, then it would appear the DA would have a SLAM DUNK prosecution in charging Cunningham, Hanna, Aitkens and the Diocese of Orange and its attorneys, with conspiracy to commit a crime.... examples: obstructions of justice and privacy violations.
To Cunningham, Hanna and Attorneys Aitkens: STAND UP AND TAKE IT LIKE A MAN! Reveal what attorney or official employed by the Diocese of Orange gave you a confidential settlement agreement and deposition revealing the names of sex abuse victims, without their permission. And, if the DA cannot prosecute conspiracy crimes against you because of conflicts of interest, then he has the duty to refer an investigation to California's AG Jerry Brown.
Speak now... or forever waive truths and doing the right thing.

Went to Cunningham's blog a bit ago. Oi veh, ya wouldn't buhlieve! All those pathetic Kool-Aid drinkers fawning over him and his near-saintly mea culpa. Can canonization be far behind?
WARNING: Don't go there without a barf bag.

Another interesting thought to consider…
If Wylie and Darren Aitken truly believe there is no law against publicly revealing the identity of sex abuse or crime victims, without the permission of a victim, then why is the Diocese of Orange attorneys advising Bishop Brown that due to privacy laws, the Diocese WILL NOT release the names of credibly accused sexual predators supervised by the Diocese of Orange, past and present. This makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. Obviously, one of the Diocese of Orange attorneys or General Counsel provided Jubal and Hanna with a copy of a MOU and deposition that contained identities of sex abuse victims… but yet these same attorneys are advising Bishop Brown not to release ALL of the names of accused employees so that the public is denied opportunity to protect their children from these MONSTERS!
This mentality, the above of the law arrogance is quite routine for the Diocese of Orange, its General Counsel and defense attorneys. Sadly, Jubal, Hanna and the Aitkens bought into this bull and it may just backfire on the Diocese of Orange. If the Diocese of Orange attorneys and the Aitkens truly believe that revealing the identity of a sex abuse victim is not illegal then it is not illegal to publicly inform the public as to ALL past and present employees credibly accused of sexual misconduct.
Is the Diocese of Orange afraid that the public may learn that there are still sexual predator employees that were never reported to law enofrcement and/or social services?
Or, do you think the Diocese of Orange General Counsel keeps a reserve of sexual predator facts and evidence, with intent to defame an employee, child or parent, from reporting wrongdoing to law enforcement? Afterall, isn't it true that anyone making a sex abuse report to social services is guaranteed confidentiality?
This means that the Diocesan General Counsel can report anyone she chooses to report as a sexual predator, whether it is true or not. All that matters to the Diocese of Orange is litigation management and public image... Afterall, look what Diocesan attorneys did to the victims of sex abuse just weeks ago? The Diocese thrives on defamation of those seeking justice.
To the Diocese of Orange, Jubal, Hanna and the Aitkens: YOU CANNOT HAVE IT BOTH WAYS! Either do the right thing in the interests of future protections of children and reveal the names of ALL sexual predators in the Diocese of Orange, OR, stop intimidating and embarassing OC Catholics with your obvious self-serving agendas to protect the Diocesan financial portfolio, with a total disregard for the safety of children.
Will all the caring Catholics and non-Catholics in the OC please PRAY that California's AG will investigate the masters of failing precious children ASAP?

Matt 'Jubal' Cunningham tried to go on the offensive, a week and one half ago, or so, on this Blog site, prior to his felonious violation of the law(s) on disclosure, as an accessory or direct agent, to the Diocese of Orange's unabated criminal activity, demanding I reveal the source of my information on Fr. Urell, and gay ped ring enabler Tod Brown, per Brown's staged and premeditated Obstruction of Justice, in the aiding and betting of Urell, to a foreign location, to stop a deposition leading to additional disclosure under Legal Oath, of the ongoing criminal activity of Brown, and the Diocese of Orange.
When I reported back publicly to the Cunnignham 'demand', on this Blog, it came from a highly respect Roman Catholic Order Prelate, the silence was DEAFENING!
That same very holy Prelate, in a private conversation, also called Brown (in between high blood pressure expletives) "the worst of the worst enablers who should have already been defrocked (long ago)!".
When this this good Prelate was asked about Mahony, Brom, Barnes, Curry, Rivera, Weigland, Steinbock, Walsh, Pilla, George, Egan, O'Malley, Law, Skyland, McCarrick, MacCormack, Chaput, and many others, known to being doing like, if not identical, 'playbook' enabling, over many decades, as well as continued obstruction of justice, and continued allowance of child molestors, in the many hundres still in active ministries, the look was partially poised in glare, and then a litany of condemnations worthy of The Last Judgement, that was NOT brief, or for the weak of heart, ensued!
I remind all my faithful laity to not donate any monies, to any direct, or indirect, causes of the Church (offetories, second collections, charities of any kind, missions, appeals, pences, tuitions, endowments, Universities, Colleges, Seminaries, Convents, Orders, Shrines, High School, Parochical Schools, building funds, remodel funds, pensions, convelescent centers, hospitals, insurances, cemetaries, equity funds, real estate, legal funds, settlement funds, sports funds, travel funds, raffles, fund raisers, fairs, soup kitchens, lay minisitries donated time, etc).
Only when Rome SEES the revenue stream crash, as was the case with Bernie Law's removal in Boston, which has never recovered, do they remove such criminal despots.
The above miters and red hats, and all guilty clerics, must be removed from office, canonically censored, like known pedohphile founder of the Legionnaires of Christ, Marciel was, and placed for LIFE in a remote, dark, cold, hard labor and bad food monastery, or alternatively, if they refuse, swiftly and irrevocably defrocked and EXCOMMUNICATED!
Remember, there are less than 3,500 miters and red hats in our Church causinf this ongoing criminality, and over 1.1 billion laity paying 100% of all bills.

Read it and weep
there are 3 video segments in the link above, each are 10 minutes long. I only ask that you dont direct your comments back unless you view all three segments.
Since the Bishops and priests know all this already, how can it be comforting to John Urell to be sent to Southdown where he can participate in masses and receive daily communion. It sounds like a cult hell, where once you were a leader in the know, and now you are expected to go through the motions.
Their careers have been huge lies this whole time, this is just the first you have seen of it. They laugh at your prayers and forgiveness. You simple, simple people. They are mocking you.
