It is sad and sickening to read "ruined" your day at Disneyland? If having some gays around you ruins your whole day at, what is considered, the "happiest place on earth" then maybe you have much bigger issues. Also, does anyone else notice the lack of grammer and spelling used during these tweets?

No, everyday at Disney is not 'hetero' day. It is go to have fun and ride rides and laugh and play day. It is NEVER "look at me, I am a hetero, or look at me, I'm a homo" day. Whatever your freaking choice of sexual attraction, DISNEY is not the place for it!

I was waiting for food at Jack in the Box when this young lady near me started talking about a gentleman's rather small penis. She was going on and on about it until I leaned over and said: "I told you not to tell anyone." The light bulb immediately went on in her head and she shut up.

Therefore, I should be boycotting Jack in the Box because I heard a woman graphically describing a man's penis there.

So having a gay day at the "gayest" place on earth is wrong? Seriously? Closed minded people scare me and they get to have Disneyland for the other 364 days of the year :(

I understand where a lot of you are coming from. But I happen to be there on Gay day and I didn't mind until, I did see women making out in lines and passing popcorn to each other through their mouths that should be left to privacy. OK I get that you are together, I don't want to see hetro's or gays with their tongue's down there throats. BTW Disneyland does not campaign this day. This day was created by the gay community, if gays want to be accepted by the masses then why create a day that would bring attention to their sexuality? This question is just a question it’s not to offend anyone, I don't believe that people are trying to be mean but I think society has become too sensitive, I think people should be allowed to express their opinion whether they support gays or not. We all have different beliefs so why get so worked up with it. So there is Gay day at Disneyland then there should be People with Disabilities day, African American Day, Hispanic Day, Irish Day, all nationalities, People who collect stamps, people who are crafty, people who swim. Most all People who breath in other words Go to Disneyland to have fun why create days that will single you out and you get upset that people speak out that they were not comfortable with it. Browse these Twitter accounts, and you'll take their comments for a grain of salt. Essentially, most of these people lack substantial intellect.

Let people have their days (@supportorpeople). Many minority groups have a "day" where they all attend a certain place, such as Disneyland. It's a special way to surround yourself with people who understand who you are, be it gay, Hispanic, disabled, exc. But being a homosexual is still not necessarily socially accepted (such as this article, "Tweets From the Park: Homophobe Edition", proves) and, for example, homophobia isn't frowned upon the way racism is. Anyone who has suffered from discrimination simply for being themselves understands that having a "day" of your own can be the once in a lifetime opportunity to feel accepted.
