Why Would The Sheriff of OC Be "Scared Shitless"?

"Yeah, me too."
--Orange County Sheriff Mike Carona said in July 2007 to his onetime Assistant Sheriff Don Haidl who'd just described himself as "scared shitless" that another alleged co-conspirator, Debra V. Hoffman--Carona's chief mistress, had talked at length to FBI agents in Newport Beach. Carona, who is on trial on public corruption and bribery charges, was unaware that his words were being recorded.

Something stinks as it relates to the $50,000 donation to Rackauckas..... hello people! Where is the US DOJ? is there an investigation into Rackauckas shennigans?
Thanks to the OC Board of Supervisors who gave Rackauckas DNA supervision, just think how easily Rackauckas could destroy a political adversary's life nowadays.... Maybe that is how Rackauckas and/or the politically connected are ruling the County of Orange now. Do you think the OC Board of Supes have something to hide too?
Who is to say that Michael Schroeder, Esq., political advisor to Carona and Rackauckas, did or did not orchestrate this embarassment to OC but the U.S justice system?
