The ruling comes just two days after she'd signed a deal that would earn each of her pups $250 a day to star in a reality t.v. show.
The ruling was a response to the lawsuit filed by former child star Paul Peterson in May, who sued Suleman (with his attorney Gloria Allred) for exploiting her brood for financial gain.
Attorney Norbert Burnt was appointed as guardian ad-litem today, meaning that for now, he will be charged with investigating the kids' financial situation. The Register's Rachanee Srisavasdi has more on today's hearing here. Suleman's next court hearing is scheduled for August 31.
