We live here because it was "inexpensive" and we are trying to save for a purchase. We rent in a condo complex that sounds extremely similar to what this article describes. The people here have no class. They let their thuggish kids run amok. They all have dogs because 'they can' not that they should. The animals are defecating in the hallways and elevators. Nobody cleans up after themselves or their pets. Its disgusting!! We can hardly wait to get the "F" out of here!

How stupid. No one can report on bad things happening in areas with large Latino populations because Latinos will presume that the reporting is intending to make all Latinos look bad instead of bring things of interest or concern to the entire community's (including the Latino community) attention? This right here is why I am sick of living in California let alone major populated areas. Yes I am white, yes a good majority of Santa Ana's population is Latino (whether that means they are here legally or illegally from any Latino country). Yes there are a lot of illegal immigrants in this country but if you want to get technical and go way back about 50,000 years ago when humans first started coming to North America across the Bearing Strait when the oceans froze dropping the sea level and forming a land bridge. This allowed people to come from Siberia. Since then different cultures from all over the world have been coming to America. So who has a say over legal and illegal immigrants? It does piss me off that people come to the country just to take advantage of everything that is here but just because someone is some race other than white that does not mean that is what they are doing. I work with someone who came here illegally at first in order to learn our culture and language and see that he loved it here. He applied for citizenship and became a legal resident of the US about 2 years ago. He has worked his ass off to support his family here in America because this is where they want to live. He does not take advantage of anything here, he is licensed and insured and even pays for health insurance for him and his family because our employer does not provide it. Everything in Southern California immediately gets turned into a discussion of race and everyone immediately assumes that anyone that is Latino is an illegal from Mexico here to take advantage of the system. That is not always they case and people need to get over that. I am living in a dumpy apartment complex in Anaheim because it is cheap enough for me to save up to get the hell out of this crappy shit-hole of Southern California and move somewhere people get along no matter what race, creed, or religion you are. You know what makes it a crappy shit-hole? Idiots that come to conclusions about people because of what they hear in the media. Oh and as far as shitting in elevators...for all we know it was a stray dog that found its way into the elevator and the landlord assumed it was a human living there. That landlord is probably some stupid fuck that came to early conclusions about the people living in their complex because of their nationality. Everyone does bad or disgusting things and who knows the reason. Maybe alcohol was involved. The sooner we all realize that people are people and EVERYONE needs to clean up after themselves, and not be a low life that just expects someone else to come pick up our trash later, the sooner we will all get along and make this place just that much nicer.
