| Congressman Tom McClintock is shown from his state Senate days. |
Supervisor Chris Norby, who is seeking the state Assembly seat abandoned by Mike "Dripper" Duvall (R-Yorba Linda), hosts Congressman Tom McClintock (R-Granite Bay) in his Fullerton home Saturday morning.*
*CLARIFICATION: See reader's comment below about Norby's campaign promoting a precinct walk by mentioning McClintock's support, not an appearance by the NorCal congressman Saturday.
In his analysis of who could emerge as Congress' next Tom Tancredo, "Washington Watcher" writes on Peter Brimelow's VDare.com website, "Freshman Rep. Tom McClintock (R-CA)
already established himself as one of the premiere advocates for
patriotic immigration reform in California."
Watcher continues of McClintock: "He campaigned tirelessly for Proposition 187 and continued to speak out against the Gray Davis sellout in the courts. McClintock also co-sponsored a bill to end birthright citizenship."
Norby's deal runs from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday in his home at 216 N. Yale Ave., Fullerton.
