Michael Jason Wilson Tried as Adult for Facebook War That Ended in Bloodshed

Casualties from a Facebook war between high school students could land a Laguna Beach 16-year-old in an adult state prison for 15 years.

Michael Jason Wilson is being charged as an adult for allegedly stabbing a former classmate in the stomach and assaulting two of the victim's friends with a carving knife.

He has engaged in "an online rivalry" with a 17-year-old through Facebook and personal email accounts, according to the Orange County District Attorney's Office (OCDA).

Hostilities led to a March 11 confrontation at Wilson's house that ended in bloodshed.

The 17-year-old, identified as Julian C.,  drove over to Wilson's home with two 16-year-olds (Nicholas L. and Sam S.) and a fourth friend. Wilson had previously attended the same high school as the four visitors.

As his three friends waited in the car, Wilson and Julian C. met outside, a confrontation ensued and, according to the OCDA, Wilson whipped out a carving knife with a 12-inch blade and stabbed Julian C. in the stomach.

The friends got out of the car to help their fallen buddy and disarm Wilson.

Wilson is accused of slashing the hands and arms of Nicholas L. and Sam S. during the struggle. The fourth friend was not physically injured.

The four visitors managed to get back in the car, drive off and flag down a passing police officer, who got them to a hospital for treatment. Julian C. and Nicholas L. required surgery for their wounds. Sam S. received stitches and was released. All are fine now.

Wilson was arrested at his home the same day as the attack. He has been
charged with three felony counts of aggravated assault with sentencing enhancements for causing great bodily injury.

Out of custody on $65,000 bail, Wilson is scheduled to be arraigned Monday morning at Harbor Justice Center in Newport Beach.

This same kid, is pretending on Facebook now to be an army special forces lieutenant, cussing out actual soldiers for claiming him as an impersonator for saying he served 6 years in special forces when he is only 18 now, if even, he might still be 17. It's a felony misdemeanor with minimum of 150,000 dollar fine and 6 months imprisonment. This kid likes to get arrested.

It's not even the same kid. If you look them both up they don't even look alike. One has brown eyes the other has blue. Y'all should get your facts right before accusing and pointing fingers. Not saying the guy on Facebook isn't phony just saying he isn't the same kid in this article.

A felon taking pictures with a firearm, and impersonating an officer.  Well like we used to say, never catch the smart ones.  Wonder if the DA has seen this yet.

i believe this boy isn't getting it hard enough she should be tried with attempted murder also plus all the stuff he has done acting like he is in the military upsetting a lot of people over that including vets. if it was me the boy should be put in Leavenworth or should be tried with the death penalty for disgracing our country so bad. the boy brought this on himself he could have stayed in side he choose to come out and stab some one an hurt two other people in the process. to me he is getting away with murder an i will make it my mission to see that this boy also gets all the charges he should have this needs to stop the military is no joke an shouldn't be taken as one either he will get punished to the max i promise you that

I grew up with this kid, he was always so nice. It's a pity how he is the one in trouble.

So, let me get this straight, 4 against 1 and he's the one charged? Did you know that these 4 boys had been bullying him incessantly at school, and had beaten him very badly recently and told him they were coming back to "finish the job"? He's gay, and has been bullied for years in the Laguna Schools... is that why you're portraying him like this? Unbelievable...

it was one against one, he pulled a knife, didnt have to go outside, breaks rules of his proation and has spent all his effort impersonating an Army officer which is a huge slap to the face for the military community.  yep...he's good people!

I could almost have some kind of sympathy for him being bullied, however, portraiting oneself as a military person and talking the smack he did and does...sorry but my give a damn is broken... he also had been talking smack on FB, walked out of his house with a knife.  And don't say he was scared, because he could have stayed in the house and called 911, but no, he chose the route he did.  The other three did not get out of the vehicle until they needed to help their friend and they incurred defensive wounds trying to help.  Besides, who told you they had beat him up, him?  Or were you there?  I would find it hard to believe anything this pos had to say.
