​Leif Garrett's arrest for drug possession Monday morning at the Metrolink station in downtown Los Angeles is a good excuse as any to revisit Dave Wielenga's great 1999 article, "Shakin' Like a Leif: Kicking Smack With Leif Garrett."

What's the deal is with the 48-year-old former teen idol and commuter trains? He was arrested for possession of heroin and Quaaludes while riding a Metro Red Line train in LA without a ticket in 2006.
