Sex, Crimes and Videotape
Then, after the first trial against the defendants ends in mistrial, you actually see the sick DVD they made.
Another local Jane Doe knows exactly what the earlier victim went through.
She was 18 in July 2008 when a friend dropped her off at a Tustin motel to party with two Santa Ana City College football players and a third man. The friend trusted them to watch over Jane Doe, who later passed out due to intoxication.
That's when the men whipped out a video camera and taped themselves removing the young woman's clothing and moving her from the bed to the floor. Two of the men repeatedly raped, orally copulated, and digitally penetrated her. One of them ejaculated in her face. The cameraman is accused of rubbing his penis against her face before handing the camcorder to another man and pissing on the woman. The video shows the men slapping her in the face, demanding she wake up and holding her nose to suffocate her into consciousness.
She never woke up on the video.
The 21-minute tape of the encounter made its way into the hands of the Tustin Police Department, which later found Jane Doe and played it for her. She had no idea the sexual assault had happened.
On Thursday, former Santa Ana City College football player Michael Alexander Clemmons, 20, of Tustin, and his former Tustin High School classmate John Paul Foster II, 23, of Seaside in Monterey County, pleaded guilty to four felony counts of rape of a person unable to resist due to an intoxicating substance, one felony count of sexual penetration by foreign object of a person unable to resist due to an intoxicating substance, and three felony counts of oral copulation of a person unable to resist due to an intoxicating substance.
They are expected to be sentenced to six years in state prison at their Nov. 6 sentencing in Santa Ana. Three days later in the same courthouse, Luster Mitchell Lewis, 21, of Irvine, will stand trial on the same charges. He also played football for the Dons.
