"Please don't tell us this is just a dream!" writes Greer Wylder on her Greer's OC fashion, shopping and dining blog.
The OC Mart MIX is scheduled to open in May or June on a 300,000-square-foot property at 3305 Hyland Ave., Costa Mesa, where Wildflower Linens and Let Them Eat Cake are already located. A second location for Eat Chow, whose first Costa Mesa restaurant is off Newport Boulevard near Triangle Square, will be across the street from the MIX, as the hepcats will be calling it.
The Mixster itself will include a wine bar, chocolatiers, coffee, home décor, garden décor and trendy food purveyors, all "hand picked" (ouch! Stop that!) and plopped down with sustainability in mind as structures rely on recycled natural woods, corrugated metals and organic recycled materials.
The new space is owned and managed by Newport Beach-based Burnham USA Equities.
