Erik Brown, GOP Fall Guy?

​Is Erik Brown--a pillar of his church and the Orange County Young Republicans political director--the hypocrite who spent nearly $2,000 in Republican National Committee funds at the bondage-themed club Voyeur in West Hollywood?

Or, is he the patsy in RNC chairman Michael Steele's cover-up?

A beloved columnist from the Weekly's past answers definintely the latter.

The New York Times reports Brown has been fired and the RNC is demanding the money spent at Voyeur be returned.

The U.S. Senate campaign for Assemblyman Chuck DeVore (R-Irvine) announced they have severed all ties with Brown, a political consultant who has also worked for governor candidate Steve Poizner.

Sounds like someone's gonna need to unwind.
