Angels Pitcher Nick Adenhart Killed in Fullerton Crash

Nick Adenhart, the Angels starter who pitched six scoreless innings in last night's 6-4 loss to the A's, was one of three people killed in a collision involving three cars just past midnight in Fullerton.
A passenger riding in a silver Mitsubishi driven by an unidentifed woman, 22-year-old Adenhart apparently died shortly after being rushed to UCI Medical Center. Another male passenger, who was not identified, had already died at the scene, the intersection of Lemon and Orangethorpe, which is expected to remain closed until noon today.
Authorities this morning confirmed Adenhart, who hails from Silver Spring, Maryland, was among the fatalities in the crash. The Mitsubishi slammed into a light pole after apparently being clipped by a red minivan, whose driver fled the scene but was later captured and arrested on suspicion of felony hit-and-run. A third car was also smashed in the same intersection. The driver of that vehicle was not injured.
"We're having a hard time getting our heads around this," Angels vice president of communications Tim Mead told the Orange County Register, declining futher comment pending a news conference later today.
Adenhart was called up to the big leagues last May and only lasted three starts for the Halos before being sent back down to the minors, where his stops included Rancho Cucamonga. He was in trouble twice Wednesday, facing bases-loaded threats in the first and fifth innings, but pitched out it, ultimately allowing seven hits, three walks and no runs.
"He got it done when he had to," manager Mike Scioscia told the Register after the game. "It's a good start for Nick."
I just knew the guy who killed Adenhart and his friends was going to be a Mexican. They just released the drunk drivers name and photo, and sure enough he is a Mexican.

To top if off the predominantly white police force does not give a f*ck because if you dare leave your car parked overnight and call a cab home, you will return to find your vehicle ticketed or towed the next morning. The laws in this town literally encourage drunk driving.

That fact is indeed relevant because stastics show hispanic males are responsible for a far greater precentage of DUI's than other racial groups. A recent study (2006) showed that Mexican males feel it is part of their cultural heritage to drink heavily and drive, it proves they are "macho" and are far less likely than other racial groups to agree to turn over keys, designate driver in advance etc. Whether you hispanics writing in here like it or not - and let's face it, not a lot of blacks & whites would post comments to defend this guy's race or anything - it is the cultural differences of hispanics that are the real problem, not the color or actual country of heritage. But hispanics bring certain practices to this country that are the antithesis of America's culture - such as having as many children as possible whether or not you can afford them, the abusive & demeaning treatment of women as part of that "macho" imagery, the feeling of entitlement that makes hispanics far less likely to learn English. There's a reason so many Californians, and Americans in general, don't want immigration policy loosened to allow more hispanics in. Would it have been better if these 3 people had been killed because the driver had been texting while he ran that red light? Refocus people, there is a much bigger issue here. The fact that this man was driving on a suspended license after a previous DUI conviction, is the issue, not his ethnicity.

on Sep 2003 the govenor at the time was Grey Davis who decided to sign a law granting illegal immigrants the right to get drivers licenses. Some say this was the final straw in him getting recalled but that is besides the point. The law was repealed 4 months later. Arnold took office and has continued to veto the bill when ever it is brought up. The last one being this very year in January...look it up it is now being called the SB1160 and the guy pushing for it is Gil Cedillo
Now lets do some work. Andrew Gallo was 16 in 2003 when the law was passed which means he could have gotten a licenses then however as all of us know the forms we need to provide to the DMV to even get a license which includes your Social Security Card...Well what if he had a fake Social Security Card you ask here is the policy straight from the California DMV
All applicants must submit to DMV their social security number. Evidence of your social security number is required only on applications for an original commercial driver license and any request to correct a SSN that is already on the driver record data base, regardless of the class. The SSN is considered confidential and will not appear on the photo license or be encoded on the magnetic stripe. Any documents that the department is authorized to release to the public will have the SSN masked. The SSN is electronically verified with Social Security Administration while you are in the DMV office for all DL/ID card transactions, if it has not already been verified.
The only documents acceptable for SSN verification are originals of the following:
Social Security Card (cannot be laminated)
Medicare card
U.S. Armed Forces Identification Cards:
Active-DD 2
Retired-DD 2
Reserved-DD 2
Dependent-DD 173
Military separation document-DD 214
Exception to the SSN requirement:
If you are legally present in the US, but ineligible for an SSN, you are exempt from SSN requirements. However, you must still provide an acceptable birth date/legal presence document for any DL/ID card application OR provide a valid SSN.
Now lets go more indepth. To first apply for a license you would have to show proof of taking and passing Driving School as well as driving instruction. The age for california is 15 to take driving school however you need to be 16 to take driving lessons from a professional and reputable school. After you have completed this you must have logged a certain number of hours behind the wheel before you can try for your permit then wait 6 months to try for your license.
If he was an illegal and decided to go to the DMV to get his permit when the law was enacted would not have gotten the proper documentation in time to move on to the next step in recieving his license...i doubt that the DMV would break the law and allow him to recieve it anyway
So lets break it down...Andrew Gallo was caught once driving with a suspended License...Which means that if he were here illegally he couldnt have had a license in the first place.
And you may say oh well what if it was stolen? Think about the possibilities of finding someone who looks remotely close to him when he bought or better yet the luck of the draw of stealing someones drivers license who looked like him
