Another of Rancho Santa Margarita lawyer/dentist/real-estate saleslady Orly Taitz's legal challenges to Barack Obama's presidency has been struck down, this time closer to home by the Fourth District Court of Appeal in Santa Ana.

Taitz had sued Barry, U.S. Sen. Dianne Feinstein and Elizabeth Emken, who
finished ahead of Taitz in the primary for a U.S. Senate seat, because California Secretary of State Debra Bowen certified results of the 2012 primary election that included Obama on the ballot.

I'll wait a couple hours for your mind to Rubic's cube the logic of that one before continuing ...

... And we're back!

Like judges and appellate colleagues around the country, the justices pointed to multiple legal errors on the part of Taitz. They also upheld a lower-court judge's ruling that she owes Occidental College, where Obama was a student from 1979 to 1981, $4,000 in sanctions. One of her legal contentions is the college is withholding an application that shows the president filled out Indonesia as his birthplace.

"The trial court denied her motion for a stay of certification and dismissed the proceeding on multiple grounds, including that Taitz never properly served defendants, failed to exhaust her preelection remedies, that her challenge was barred by laches, and that only the Sacramento Superior Court has jurisdiction to hear such election challenges," the justices wrote in their opinion.

The justices also noted Taitz failed to file her lawsuit on time and failed to file emergency motions to halt the general election while continuing her litigation even after the winners took office.

Don't worry, legal eagles, there's no doubt more legal funny papers out there to wade through because ol' Orly is nothing if not prolific.
