Michelle Lynn Johnson, Math Teacher Accused of Sex with Male Student, Faces Arraignment

michelle-lynn-johnson_brea-pd.jpg
A Brea Olinda High School math teacher arrested in June for the alleged sexual assault of a 17-year-old male student is scheduled to be arraigned in Fullerton this morning.

Michelle Lynn Johnson, 45, of Anaheim, faces charges that could send her to prison for eight years and four months with a conviction.

Prosecutors say Johnson, who has since been placed on leave, met the teen at the high school, befriended him and "groomed" him--not in the wash his dirty hair sense but ... you know.

Michelle Lynn Johnson, Brea Olinda High Math Teacher, Accused of Sex with Male Student

This is alleged to have blossomed into a full, uh, blown sexual relationship that included sucking and fucking, multiple times, at and away from the school. Spilled Mountain Dew isn't the only reason floors are sticky at Brea Olinda, apparently.

The kid's parents became suspicious of the relationship--have you seen Junior's grades!?!--and called the fuzz, whose investigation is ongoing.

Anyone with additional information or who believes they have been a victim can contact Supervising District Attorney Investigator Paul Carvo at 714.347.8794 or Brea Police Detective Debbie Stark at 714.990.7638.

Would that this fox had been my high school math teacher. The reality is that a hormone driven teenage male has no problem copulating a zillion times a day. The judge ought to laugh this case right out of court.

Mater Dei has nothing to do with any of this, yet you hurl your insults because of your obvious prejudice and bias--totally uncalled for--just because they happen to be a Catholic religious school?

@MatthewTCoker I don't get it? I read  this article. Aside from half a paragraph of wink wink sexual references, I don't see anything to label the whole article crass, unethical or what ever. And trust me if Coker were to post something truly crass, Id be the first one to read him the riot act. I for one would like more posts and stories of substance but fuck man, that's the whole field of journalism for you. and thats the result of the fast food, rapid info consumption culture of the USA to blame. If you want more stories of substance, sop making stupid people famous by ignoring them. Even better, if you see octomom anywhere in the OC run that vaginal clown car over with your prius or scion or mini cooper and save us all. Edit (5 minutes)

The average age of legal sexual consent in the U$A is 16 (sixteen).

Grow the fuck up, prudish parochial America!

When I posted my original report on this same case, I got an email blasting me for not having written about a male teacher in the same district who was said to have quietly moved to another high school after similar allegations previously. Damned if you do, damned if you don't.

I bet the kid was begging his parents to not say anything...he was getting excellent grades in Math, and getting to bang his teacher..he had it made.

Oc Weekly just got unliked! I would fire whoever posted this. Shame on you.

If Mater Dei has had it happen or not is not what I'm contesting, my point was just that this article is about another school entirely. Hence my question, what's with the dig? Unnecessary and irrelevant. The 2 cents added via the caption by whoever posted this up definitely lowered the integrity of the "reporting"

Also Gustavo when he's not harping on about illegal mexicans reviews some good places to eat. They also cover some great events worth going to like Kush Expo (missed it but wanted to go), decent shows and cultural events. Admit it you are Brea residents (town sucks btw, your downtown is like going to the mall or spectrum, overpriced garbage) and friends with this teacher and doing damage control. And we definitely need more pics of her to evaluate her behavior.

Jasmine: Mater Dei is notorious for having molesting teachers—you can look it up! Amanda: We post many positive stories. Yesterday, we hailed the 10 greatest metal bands in OC history. Today, we'll throw some food stories up as well. But we gotta report what happens, you know?

Anyone else notice this "ethics" discussion is with a post about a beloved local teacher? No one is expressing similar outrage with recent posts about men suspected/convicted of child molestation or Santa Ana moms accused of abusing their babies. And what's in common about ALL those stories: like the "insanely crass" Weekly, ALL the Southern California media outlets are covering them. Two seconds ago they flashed the same mug of Ms. Johnson on the teevee. So being insanely crass isn't confined to us hipsters burning fatties outside Dreamgirls.

Look I realize you don't read the register anymore because you're too cheap to pay to access their website but this is an alternative weekly. They got whores and marijuana for sale advertised in the back of their paper. Also being young, hipster types that run the paper and read their paper they gotta try to be edgy and liberal. If you don't frequent their sponsors (like punk rock, smoke weed or go to escorts and strip bars) noone really cares what you think. You opinion is about as relevant as some occupy tard writing to the editors of the wall street journal. Go back to your suburban homes and worry about your lawns or whatever stupid environmental farce is popular today and leave us degenerates alone. I didn't even read the article but my only criticism is that there's not a full body shot of the teacher. What gives?

Wow.... an insanely crass article! Makes me want to unfriend!

Exactly, it's not even journalism anymore. And then they attack people who say anything about it rather than remaining neutral and letting the article speak for itself. I wouldn't be surprised if we got a comment under this that said something along the lines of "than don't read our shit then" which is what they tell others. I hate that this publication reps OC, putting an even worse name to our county. So immature. Their captions are what get me...isn't Mater Dei part of OC? Whats with the dig?

Amanda this page sucks now. They just try to be as scandalous and controversial as possible to get people to read their crap.

Doesn't the OC weekly ever post positive news feed about the OC instead of people fucking up ?

@Amanda Gonzalez Just looking below this post at the nine others on the first NG page, I see a porn star advising men on how to please ladies and our editor promoting his advice segment on a podcast and appearance on a national cable sports program. Items about the sheriff considering drones and the possible risks of a power plant are of public interest. Even items about the arrests and prosecutions of molesters can be "positive" if you consider they are off the streets and away from other possible victims. Change your perspective, babe!
