Henry Bouldin Barred from Wearing Bag Over His Head at Big A

unkonw-comic-angel.jpg
All Henry Bouldin wanted to do was watch an Angel game with a paper bag over his head, is that so wrong?

It is at the Big A.

"Security just showed up out of nowhere," Bouldin reportedly said after Tuesday's game against the Chicago Cubs. "They said you can't wear anything over your head."

It happened in the seventh inning, reports the Los Angeles Times, and to add insult to insult, Bouldin's bag included this message scrawled on it: "$127 million + all I got was this bag. Go Angels?"

Tim Mead, the Angels spokesman, reportedly told the Times a fan at the stadium would be told to remove a paper bag over his or her head if it stated, "Go, Angels!" Mead added the team policy applies to all masks, noting a fan was recently told to remove a Rally Monkey facial covering.

Bouldin's paper bag was apparently spotted by a stadium surveillance camera before security pounced. Perhaps the fan's monkeying around inspired the Halos who, coming off being swept by Houston, went on to beat the Cubbies, 4-3.

I guess that means no more halloween parties. No fun in America anymore.

But the military guys can wear night vision goggles over thier faces in order to shoot you with thier guns.

http://www.ocregister.com/articles/world-300004-angel-fans.html

They passed out masks and then told a single fan that he could not wear a mask (bag) over his head regardless if it was a bag or not? Yet 40,000 fans were wearing masks and then they wonder why we call it Homeland Stupidity, and they let the Iron Maiden singer Bruce Dickenson wear a feathered mask at the Verizon Wireless Theatre. Things that make you go Hmmmmmm.

What? It had to have a Big A for Arsehole on it?

WoW. Really? And when the Weekly criticizes the Angels they get kudos points.

What an UNFAIR system. No wonder it's broken.

I believe that the Angels gave out a wrestling mask last year as a promotion?   Guess they gave the masks out and then banned the wearing of them?  lol

Another example our constitutional rights to express ourselves & freedom of speech are deteriorating.

Had he been in a full on Burkha, he would be able to sue the franchise. But as an apparent ordinary, traditional American, the guy is SOL.

Was this act really criticism, or just a clown looking for some free public attention. If you don't like the team, vote with your feet and your wallet. Arte has quietly given over 3 million dollars to deserving OC organizations like Boys and Girls clubs etc. Hey Henry, for your next act, run on the field during a game with your bag hat!!

Glad to see people still love the Unknown Comic.

You have to be "in the bag" to sit through an Angels game. The manager is the one who should "get SACKED"!!!!

This fair-weather fan is ridiculous. Whether the Angels are winning or losing, these "fans" can stay home.

Interesting...they saw no one is allowed to wear anything covering their faces?  Didn't the Angels have a promo night a few years back where they gave away Angels Mexican wrestling masks and encouraged the fans to wear them to set some kind of record?

Bullshit. Most public places won't allow you to be masked.

@tongue_twister_for_t Good point about the Angels themselves handing out masks, but much of the rest of this is rambling.

What does Bruce Dickinson wearing a mask at a venue in a different city have to do with Angel security? Do you think every security officer knows each other?

@Ben387 Yes I thought the same thing.  It was just last year I believe.  A lot of my friends still have them.  Even Honda Center will let you cover you head...but you have to enter the building unmasked.  Seems this guy was unmasked until the 7th?   so not sure what the problem was especially if the cameras were watching him.
