Nancy Corona Gunned Down in Her South Street Apartment Garage in Anaheim

Categories: 2013 Homicides
A 23-year-old woman was shot to death in the parking area of her Anaheim apartment complex Saturday morning.

There is no known motive for the murder of Nancy Corona, but Anaheim police do say they want to talk with her ex-boyfriend.

A report of a woman lying next to her car in the underground parking garage sent cops to the South Parks Apartments in the 500 block of South Street around 7 a.m. Saturday.

She appeared to have been shot at least once in the upper part of her body, according to a police spokesman.

By Saturday evening, her family was holding a memorial, where she was remembered as a young woman with her whole life ahead of her. She'd worked at a law firm to support her mother and two younger siblings and to put herself through school. Corona had recently graduated from a program preparing her to become a medical assistant.

Anyone with information that can help find her killer is asked to call Orange County Crime Stoppers at 855.847.6227.

This is sad. Too bad for the loss of life, etc.

But...Anaheim Hills residents, it is affecting your property values. People search 'Anaheim' -- they get this crap.

Time for a new city.

@mannylegacy @Mitchell_Young That's the point. This sort of stuff doesn't happen in the Hills. Continued attachment (barely) to a city which is demographically totally unlike what is now 'Anaheim Hills' hurts those folks property values. Freedom is what they need, to decide their own destiny.
