Justin Soto Identified by Readers as 25-Year-Old Shot to Death in Brea

A 25-year-old man who was shot in the stomach collapsed on a Brea street Saturday night and later died at UCI Medical Center in Orange.

Three people were questioned by police about the shooting, which happened after 9 p.m. in the 300 block of South Cedar Avenue.

After receiving a call around 9:40 p.m. of shots fired, Brea police officers arrived on Cedar to find the man lying in the middle of the street with a gunshot wound.

The investigative trail led to a home on the same block where the shooting is believed to have happened. The trio questioned by police came from that home. Other than that, officers have little to go on and ask anything with information to call 714.990.7624.
