Twenty-year-old Courtney Madison Ideue Aoki will be laid to rest in private services Saturday, according to the Forest Lawn of Cypress website.

The young Buena Park woman is the presumed first murder victim of Ali Syed, 20, of Ladera Ranch.

"I want to thank all of our friends and relatives that have made the loss of Courtney a little less painful," reads a statement on the memorial park site from the victim's mother, Annette Aoki. "Thank you and God bless you!"

A woman identified as Ms. Medina also shares back at the mom, "Words could never convey or express how sorry we are for your loss. May God bring your family peace as we all grieve for a lost soul. May God bless you and keep you."

This brief bio of the deceased is also included on the site:

Courtney Madison Ideue Aoki, 20, born on June 27, 1992, in Los Angeles, California, passed away February 19, 2013. She resided in Buena Park, California at the time of her passing. She will be terribly missed by her mother, grandmother, and younger sister. She was a beautiful person inside and out and was loved deeply by all around her.

The Weekly has reported Annette Aoki was facing financial difficulties that have only been compounded by her daughter's death, and that a San Clemente woman set up at donation site here:

I'll never forget her. She was a person that would light up your life from the first moment you met her. It really is heart breaking to see a friend of mine lose her life like this. She deserved so much more.
