The fellow had been walking with a dozen or so others in the 2400 block of West Ball Road when a car pulled up, males who jumped out asked about gang affiliations and a street fight broke out.
Anaheim police received the call at 11:53 p.m. to assist a stabbing victim. He was taken to UCI Medical Center in Orange, and cops were told at one point the victim was in stable condition. However, the county coroner later informed police the 19-year-old had died.

UPDATE NO. 1, MARCH 12, 8:55 A.M.: The Anaheim Police Department has identified the 19-year-old stabbed to death Saturday night as Andrew Pacheco.
Police and family members do not believe Pacheco belonged to a gang.
The department is also dealing with another gang-related stabbing involving a 19-year-old believed to have been part of an early Monday confrontation in an alley near West Guinida Way. As that victim was going door-to-door seeking aid, police were contacted around 3:30 a.m. and he was taken to UCI Medical Center in Orange, where he was listed in critical condition.
Police only described the second 19-year-old as a documented gang member, adding his stabbing and Pacheco's are apparently not related.
UPDATE NO. 2, MARCH 19, 6:36 P.M.: Two men have been arrested on suspicion of murdering Andrew Pacheco, according to Sgt. Bob Dunn, the Anaheim Police spokesman.
They are: Giovanni Carillo, 20, of Corona, which is where he was arrested; and Erik Silva Suarez, 23, of Anaheim, which is where he was popped.
