But, given the state of the Los Angeles Lakers these days, perhaps convincing "Silk" and "Stormin' Norman" to suit up and rejoin their old team would be a more worthy use of their time. (And, speaking of Worthy, pull "Big Game James" out of the Time Warner Cable post-game chair to pitch in on court as well.)
Other retired NBA and NFL players scheduled to attend include: UCLA and NBA star (and Chickie Baby sidekick) Keith Erickson, Sam Williams, Ed Ratleff, Reggie Berry, Ron Brown and Bob Elliott, as well as Arnie Fielkow, CEO of the National Basketball Retired Players Association.
They will help distribute gifts to 300 homeless children who participate in GCHope's We've Got Your Back program, a weekend nutrition program that provides them food.
