Christopher Michael Casey, Huntington Beach High School Student, Arraigned For Making Bomb Threat at School

According to HB Police spokesman Lt. Mitch O'Brien, it is believed Casey was miffed at having to serve detention.
"It's somewhat speculative but he was serving detention at the time he wrote the note," O'Brien said.

A secretary found the note and quickly handed it off to the principle who called police.
"When we got there, (the principle) had the kid detained and it was pretty obvious he didn't have a bomb," O'Brien said.
Surf city cops are continuing to examine Casey's computer and talk to his friends, but it is believed the student wasn't in possession of bomb making materials.
The Orange County District Attorney's office is requesting Casey be held on $250,000 bail. If convicted, he faces three years in state prison.
